Timothy T. Lynch, OD

Timothy T. Lynch, OD is a residency-trained optometrist. He attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst before receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry in New York City in 1999. He then spent one year in a residency program with the New England College of Optometry in an ophthalmology practice providing postoperative care to cataract and refractive surgical patients.

Dr. Lynch provides primary eye care including the detection and treatment of eye diseases and fitting contact lenses.

He has participated on seven volunteer missions to Mexico with the Lions Club, providing eye care and glasses to thousands of needy individuals. Dr. Lynch currently resides in Mansfield with his wife and three sons. Outside of the office he loves to mountain bike and golf.

Meghan Lambert, OD

Meghan Lambert, OD

Meghan Lambert, OD is an optometrist with interest in family eye care, myopia control including orthokeratology, and eye disease. She is a 2008 graduate of the University of California Berkeley School of Optometry, where she graduated with honors. While at Berkeley, she was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Dr. Lambert received her Bachelor's of Science from James Madison University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Lambert has special training in eye disease from the VA medical centers in Livermore and Palo Alto, California. She also has advanced training in corneal disease. She traveled to Palau on an outreach trip to help serve the population that has no access to eye care. She lives in Rhode Island with her husband and two children, and enjoys sports, outdoor activities and local beaches.

Kristy Wooler, OD

Kristy B. Wooler, OD is a residency-trained optometrist. She graduated summa cum laude from Providence College with a Bachelor's degree in mathematics. Dr. Wooler attended the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, where she received her Doctor of Optometry Degree and graduated as class valedictorian in 2009. She went on to pursue a residency in ocular disease at Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston, receiving intensive training in the diagnosis and management of various ocular disease states, particularly in the areas of cataract and glaucoma.

Janis Mertz, OD

Janis Mertz, O.D. is a graduate of the New England College of Optometry in Boston and a veteran of the United States Army.

As a Captain, she served at the Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco. While in California, she was an adjunct clinical professor at the University of California/School of Optometry at Berkeley in the contact lens clinic. She then practiced at Wuerzberg Army hospital in Germany.

Dr. Mertz went on to teach as an adjunct clinical professor at the New England College of Optometry in the contact lens clinic and served as the chief of the homeless division at the school, where she and the students provided eye care to Boston's homeless population.

Dr. Mertz has owned her own practice for 10 years before joining the prestigious Baystate Eye Center on Obery Street in Plymouth, Massachusetts.

She lives in Plymouth with her husband, Dr. James Mertz, whom she met while on an eye care mission trip to Mexico. She is an avid swimmer and enjoys living by the sea.

Joyce Rached, OD

Joyce Rached, OD is a residency- trained optometrist. She attended the University of MCPHS (Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worcester. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2015 with a Bachelor of Health and Science and Biology. She continued at MCPHS and received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2018. She then completed a one-year residency at Providence VA Medical Center. Dr. Rached specializes in ocular disease and specialty contact lenses. She lives in Norwood with her husband and enjoys playing soccer and hiking.
