Get Special Treatment for $39
10 days ago, we introduced you to Marisa Pitts, our Practice Manager at our Mansfield office. Here she is in New York City.
We told you she loved everything pumpkin, spending time with her family, singing on stage, and about her personal battle with multiple sclerosis. She was diagnosed nearly a decade ago, at age 29. She was also diagnosed with cataracts and optic nerve drusen.
If you missed our last email, here’s a link to Marisa’s story.
Optic Nerve Drusen
Drusen are yellow deposits under the retina. Optic nerve drusen are made up of protein and calcium salts and generally appear in both eyes. Optic nerve drusen do not affect vision, but some people may lose peripheral vision.
Optic nerve drusen can cause complications for people with glaucoma. They can also trigger eye palpitations for people with high blood pressure - as well as hide other health issues.
Marisa scheduled an eye exam with Dr. Lambert many years ago. And for the first time ever, she was able to learn and see (in high resolution) exactly what optic nerve drusen was. And it was thanks to state-of-the-art technology we use, called, “Optos”.
Optos is a revolutionary retinal imaging tool that allows our eye doctors to see more of a person’s retina than ever before.
Here’s what it looks like.
Here’s why it’s important to you:
Plain and simple, Optos has the power to protect sight, prevent blindness, and detect life-threatening diseases, like cancer, stroke, and cardiovascular disease.
It provides you peace-of-mind.
Optos takes a high resolution image showing a 200 degree view of the retina. Before Optos, we were only able to see a 45 degree view of the retina.
Here are actual images Optos captured of Marisa’s retina.
Optos is pain free and takes less than one second to capture a crystal clear image. It’s also ready for immediate review - so you don’t have to wait, worry, and wonder what the results are. You get them instantly. And for Marisa, that was really important. Dr. Lambert was able to show Marisa her conditions, right there on the screen, immediately. It allowed Dr. Lambert to perform additional tests that normally wouldn’t be performed.
Marisa now has a full understanding, and treatment plan, for her eye problems.
When asked about the power of Optos, Marisa said, “It gives me peace-of-mind. It should be part of everyone’s yearly eye exam. It just makes sense to take care of your eyes this way.”
This special treatment is available, and recommended by our optometrists, every time you visit us.
The cost is $39.
$39 and less than a second.
That’s all it takes for peace-of-mind, and to stay ahead of any eye issues you may have.
If you take your eye health seriously, Optos is a no-brainer.
