Are you enjoying the relatively warm winter? No icy ponds. No snow-covered soil. The cold never really came. Punxsutawney Phil predicted an early spring in the annual Groundhog Day tradition in Punxsutawney, PA., last month.

He was right. The first day of spring is right around the corner - March 19th. It’ll be the earliest start to the spring season in 124 years! Good job, Phil. But there might be a price to pay for Phil’s accurate prediction. Experts are predicting a brutal allergy season. The warm weather will allow for an accelerated and early start to booming pollen production. So if you’re one of the 26 million (and growing) people in the U.S. who suffer from itchy eyes, stuffy & runny noses, an annoying cough, and that tickle in the back of your throat, you need to take action right now.
“Once people start feeling those symptoms, it’s often too late to help them feel 100%, until allergy season is over,” Dr. Lynch said. We want you to come visit us before your symptoms start - like right now. A few minutes with us can lead to several months without rubbing your eyes constantly. “Think of your allergy symptoms as a smoldering fire. You want to knock it down before it grows into an all-out inferno that becomes tough to control,” Dr. Lynch said. In short, we don’t want your allergies to go from this…
That’s no fun. So if you have seasonal allergies, come visit us. We can help treat your symptoms now, before it’s too late.
From all of us at BayState Eye Center, Thank you!
