Happy 20th Anniversary, Dr. Lynch!

He started the BayState Corporation in May of 2002. It was the eye center inside the Plymouth Walmart. 

Five years later, Dr. Timothy Lynch opened his first Bay Eye Center in Mansfield.

Since then, Bay Eye Center has expanded - with offices in Plymouth, Bridgewater, Easton, and most recently Cedarville.

Dr. Lynch and the Bay Eye Center team has helped tens of thousands of people see better over the years - not just here in Massachusetts - but across the world.

Dr. Lynch, his son, and Alyssa - who works at Bay Eye Center in Plymouth - just got back from a mission to Mexico. They, along with a team of fellow volunteers, helped more than 3,300 people with their vision needs! We’ll share more about their trip in the coming days. But it’s just another example of the passion Dr. Lynch demonstrates each and every day. He has always put people first.

Dr. Kristy Wooler, a former optometrist at our Plymouth office says, "I met Tim when I was fresh out of optometry school almost 13 years ago and I was as amazed by his go-getter attitude then, as I am today. I remember thinking when does this guy sleep?! From opening and managing multiple offices, to caring for a high volume of patients, while being a devoted dad and accomplished athlete, he absolutely does it all! But what stands out the most about Tim is that he’s still the most down-to-earth guy you’ll ever meet, and I’ve truly enjoyed getting to know him as a colleague and friend over the years. Our Optical Manager, Andrew Kun, said this about Dr. Lynch, “I have had the pleasure of knowing and now working with Dr. Lynch for going on 12 years. His dedication to optics and patient care is truly impressive and second to none. I have grown tremendously as an Optician and person through Dr. Lynch's leadership and following his strong work ethic. I just wish I could keep up with him on a bike as well!”

Our Practice Manager, Sarah Morgan, said, “I have worked with Dr. Lynch for more than five years now, and his passion for helping people is what attracted me to the practice. I am lucky enough to work in a practice where the patient’s health is the foundation to our work every day and this is largely because of the man and the provider that Dr. Lynch is.”
